John Henley
Managing Partner


As Managing Partner at The Center for Sales Strategy, John has led in the development of our Executive Leadership Team (ELT), which has been a key factor in our company’s growth and diversity. The ELT's depth of leadership has guided the launch and growth of our two new divisions - LeadG2 and Up Your Culture. John has a strategic approach and is often working directly with many of our larger clients' senior leadership. John has been the driving force on writing and refining the concepts for three key training programs that help our clients improve sales; Leadership Mindset, IMPACT Sales Leadership System and Sales Accelerator.

John joined the company in 1996 and became an Owner in 2008. He sold his share of the company in 2022 and now serves on the Board and is a member of the ELT. The ELT is focused on strategic planning, company culture, talent management, and financial performance.

John lives in North Carolina with his wife Cricket. They have two grown children, Chelsea (married to Jordan) and David (married to Emmee). John tries to work as hard at being a husband and father as he does at being a Managing Partner. He previously worked in Chicago, Atlanta, Birmingham, and Tampa and is a native of Toledo, Ohio.
